$1,275.00

Virtual Consultation

This is an opportunity to get to know eachother and discuss your preferences for birth and expectations from my role as your doula.

2 Virtual Prenatal Meetings

These 1.5 hour meetings take place on Zoom, Google Hangout, RingCentral or FaceTime . The first prenatal visit occurs around the 32nd week of pregnancy; the second around week 37. These visits are designed to dive deep into your desires for your birth, to unpack fears, to demystify anything that may be hindering your confidence. The goal is that by the end of these sessions, you will trust in your ability to birth and make the decisions right for you and your baby, and that I as your doula will have a deep understanding on how best to support you. Some of the topics we may go over are a birth plan, comfort measures, medical interventions, birth essentials, etc.

1 Virtual Postpartum Plan Meeting

This 1.5 hour virtual meeting occurs around week 38, and will focus on how best to prepare for the early postpartum period so that the transition to parenthood can be as smooth as possible. Some topics may include what to expect during this time of adjustment, breastfeeding discussion, baby/parents essentials, nourishing meal planning, resources, etc

Unlimited phone and email communication

I will provide unlimited phone/text and email support throughout the pregnancy. No question, inquiry or concern is insignificant. I welcome all communication as that is the best way for us to get to know each other.

Resources and Community Referrals

A vast amount of holistic maternity care providers are available in our community, ranging from midwives, OB’s, chiropractors, acupuncturists, to pelvic floor therapists and bodyworkers. Many offer virtual classes, webinars, and other support. Feel free to ask for a referral!

On duty 24/7

Starting at about two weeks before your GUESS date, I will be on call 24 hour per day, 7 days a week. Also, there will be arrangements for a backup doula, should I happen to be attending another birth

Virtual Labor Support

During the entire duration of your labor, I will be continuously available through phone, text and other virtual support of your choice. I will draw on my knowledge, experience and intuition to provide physical and emotional support, to hold space, to help facilitate labor progress by making suggestions for positions, movement, breathing and relaxation. I will guide your birth partner (if available; in some cases that may be the nurse or other care provider) on how to best support you physically using massage, counter pressure, aroma therapy and rebozo. Finally, I will provide reassurance and perspective, evidence-based information regarding your current birth options, and ensure that you have all the information you need to make informed decisions about your care.

OPTIONAL: Converting Virtual to In-Person Service

If at any point you wish to convert my labor support from Virtual to In-Person, we will be able to do so based on availability at an additional fee of $70.00 per hour. Currently, this can be a case of in person support before heading to the hospital (in order to protect myself, my family and other clients, I currently do not enter hospitals), or if at some point during your pregnancy you change birth locations from hospital to birth center/home birth.

Immediate postpartum support

I will be there to support you after birth to help with anything you may need, providing information on newborn care, or breastfeeding initiation support.

Postpartum Check in

During this 1 hour meeting, we will review your birthing experience and I will support you in any way you may need me, from breastfeeding to newborn care, and more

Postpartum phone and email communication

After the postpartum visits, I will be available to you by phone and email for as long as you may need me.
